In Greece other Apostles like Andreas in Patras, Phillip in Athens, Loukas in Thebes, John in Patmos and Titos in Crete, were active. In time, Christianity became firmly entrenched in Greece while persecution did not effect Christians on the whole and its liberal sermons relieved the enslaved Greeks.
